What in the world?

Welcome to this blogging experment. I’m a college professor and noted that this summer there are exactly 100 days between graduation and the first day of classes of our fall semester (I even checked this on a Julian calendar table: May 16, day 167; August 24, day 267). Since I have lots of books I want to read, should read, will read even though maybe I shouldn’t, and so on – I decided a summer project made sense. So that’s what I’m starting out with. A simple plan – read 100 books in 100 days. It won’t always be 1 per day, and some will take a bit of time, but I plan to post daily about what I’m reading, as well as any other fun or interesting stuff I come across. I certainly don’t expect to change the world, but I’ll enjoy it anyway. If you’re peeking in, enjoy. If not, well, never mind.
