The Heart of Change

I’ve been listening to The Heart of Change by John Kotter. It’s easy to listen to in one sense, and is peppered with powerful stories. As part of an institution which has attempted big changes and needs big changes (and what institution doesn’t) I’m finding some insight, but more importantly motivation to get some things done. The book reminds me that remarkable transformations are possible, but that there is no simple formula. The book does present guiding principles and a wide enough range of examples that anyone could at least begin to imagine what they might need to do!
