#17 – Fragile Things

On this trip, we’ve been listening to Fragile Things by Neil Gaiman. I’ve never read anything by him and short stories are a good exposure. An interesting set of stories which evidence Gaiman’s creativity. A few stories are humorous, a few more horrifying, and a couple of stories which were just difficult to listen to (they are that dark). At least once, we needed a bit of palatte cleansing (metaphorical). One really interesting thing was the introduction where Gaiman described the origin of the stories. I think it would be worth reading for aspiring authors; I found it fascinating.
