A Comedian’s Guide to Theology

I’ve expressed (elsewhere) my somewhat negative take on much of what passes for humor in Christian circles. Perhaps there is hope. I picked up a copy of Thor Ramsey’s A Comedian’s Guide to Theology and at least based on my initial read, this might be a keeper. He is probably (based on Amazon recommendations) best known for his Thou Shalt Laugh series, which I’ve had pass through the house but never listened to. That he has a degree in English Literature and Hellenistic Greek is bound to impress the academic in me, and I think there is ample space for humorous takes on things like theology. I’m hoping to steal a few bits from it.
